Who the thermal curtain suits
A good fit when
Every time the door opens in January, the room pays for it. This curtain hangs inside the frame and stays closed while people pass: you push through the middle and 50 magnets pull it shut.
It is built in layers, Oxford fabric on both faces with a thick cotton filling between. All four sides are widened so the hook-and-loop strip holds along the whole frame, and weighted sticks along the bottom keep it down in a draught. Side buckles tie it back when you want the doorway clear.
Know before you buy
- It is solid: no light and no view through it. Look at the window version if the hallway goes dark.
- It hangs with the door open or removed. It does not replace the door.
- The curtain is 2" wider and 2" taller than the door size it is named for.

Measure first
Order by your door, not by the curtain
Measure the width
Run the tape across the opening, from the inside face of one side of the frame to the other. Write it in inches.
Measure the height
From the floor to the underside of the top of the frame. Garage floors slope, so measure at both sides and keep the larger number.
Find the size in the table
Look for the row whose range holds your two numbers. If you are between sizes, take the larger screen.
